Traffic island lights not working

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 23:55, Saturday 19 January 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

A number of traffic island lights are not working along the A4185, notably the one near the Thomson entrance to the Harwell campus. The problem seems to be prevalent in the neighbouring areas of Steventon and Drayton (A4130 & B4017), and probably extends to the whole of Oxfordshire. It could result in an accident while a vehicle attempts to pass a cyclist or a bus when it is dark.

Please fix the lights before someone gets hurt or worse.

Updates

  • Many thanks for sending this through and apologies for any outage with our bollards in Oxfordshire. The bollards are usually numbered with a B numbered reference. If possible if you seen any that are out would it be possible to pass these through with the ID and location , this way we can locate this on our asset system. I will however scout the area and try and locate the problem bollards, thanks for bringing the issue to our attention
