Streetlight 24 too close to house and too much light

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 10:26, Thursday 17 January 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

We moved in 3 months ago and like it here but since arriving I have had difficulty sleeping as it is so bright. I have lined both upstairs windows with blackout linings but the light still gets in. Streetlight 24 is little more than a car's length from the main bedroom window and streetlight 23 is just opposite, so adds to the light. Please would you fit a light shield to 24 to reduce the light for us? It is a quiet cul de sac and doesn't really need all this light. Thank you
