Faded/absent lane division lines on blind corner.

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Marc Thielke at 19:41, Tuesday 15 January 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The curve from Camp Road, as it curves south to Middleton Stoney, is missing the lane division dash lines. It is a blind corner that often has incidents of cars speeding above 30mph after and in advance of the national speed limit. Repainting and or installation of turtle/cat eye bumps in needed.

Road markings in the area have been faded for years, in 2018 much repainting was done but this was missed.

  • I reported this problem in January 2018 and still nothing has been done. This bend needs lines painted urgently and some sort of cat's eyes. Also the 30mph speed signs need to be made bigger/clearer. Idiots hurtle round that corner on the wrong side of the road. The road from the mobile home park to the junction with the B4030 needs some serious repairs and line painting and speed limit reminders, it is beyond a joke.
