These severe potholes are on a very narrow uphill street Just before a blind bend in the road where cars coming down from a southerly direction are often going too fast and over the middle of the road. I'm surprisurprised there has not been a collision . They have been getting worse for weeks.

Maybe it is time to consider making this street one- way or to widen the roadway. Vehicles are wider nowadays and it is getting difficult for even two 'Chelsea tractors' to pass safely.

Nothing has been done regarding these reports of potholes on Station rd. When are they going to be fixed? It's 2weeks since I reported the danger and two days earlier by Peter Lawrence.

Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the site and assessed the problem that you have identified. Unfortunately it does not meet our current intervention criteria so I cannot arrange a repair. We will continue to monitor this during our routine inspections.

I understand from Wheatley Parish Council that potholes on the road have to be more than 40mm before they will be repaired. At least 2 of the ones on Station Rd are at least 90mm (see photo attached). So these ones come under your criteria for repair. Cars coming up the road on the same side of the potholes are regularly in the middle of the very narrow carriageway trying to avoid damaging their tyres etc in them ( see photos attached).

I am very upset by your inspectors report, can I respectlfully say that maybe he should visit Specsavers!. Or maybe he should try riding a bicycle up the road, very dangerous The state of the roads in Wheatley are horrendous, too many to report, but this is a very busy route
