This problem has NOT been sorted. Only a few yards at each end has had any work carried out. The rest of the footpath/alleyway is still problematic for any user especially the less mobile. A senior OCC manager should visit this site to see exactly what is not happening. THIS IS A HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION.

This matter is far from closed. Once again I was “attacked” by overhanging branches while trying to use this footpath. Can I now use “ramblers rights” to cut back anything that blocks my way and my right of way?! A reply is required within 3 working days. Failure to reply will be taken as “ramblers rights” will apply. Any local authority cannot pursue any individual or group for exercising their rights of ease of passage along a public footpath or bridle way.
