Street light outside number 2 Corbett road not working
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.

Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

Thank you for your report, this is on our managment system for attendance, we have recently had a new contractor start working with us and they are trying to complete as many of the outstanding works on an area basis.

... still not working (6 weeks since reported). On the plus side, not long to go before the clocks go forward. Presumably the light will be fixed before October 2019 when the clocks go back.

Oxfordshire County Council have recently appointed new term maintenance contractors to manage our electrical highway assets within Oxfordshire, however they are currently dealing with a small backlog of outstanding faults from the transition from the old contractor to the new. Our aim is to get as many faults as possible rectified, however this will be based on an area approach. Apologies for any inconvenience caused while this asset is out of operation.

Thank you for the repair. I hope the new team manage to catch up on the black log and then provide the service we expect from our Council.
