Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
This pothole, and the damage it was causing to vehicle were first reported in April 2018. Numerous phone calls eventually resulted in an engineer investigating it, deciding it needed repair and outlining it with white paint on 12 th September 2018. At the same time the engineer was advised the road drains were blocked and he agreed and it appears this was logged the same day, however, every time highways is contacted about pothole they advise it ‘can’t be located’, or ‘the job has been completed (it hasn’t)... they filled in a pothole further along street but not this one.

Well here we go again, despite the chap (who we have spoken to more than 3 times ) telling us, on the 10th January 2019, that he would ‘reopen’(?) our report it appears he did nothing. Have just spoken with the same chap, having asked for him by name, today and he has informed us he would ‘reopen’ our report. When it was pointed out that he has used the exact same words 11days ago we were given the runaround. Strangely enough, 3 potholes in Bushey Row, less than 400 yds from this pothole have been inspected and filled in the last few weeks... could you really not move your vehicle 400 yds and fill this one in?

Have just received a call from the same chap at west oxon council who says he has now forwarded this and assures us it will now be fixed within 28 days. Hopefully this is true and we will be able to update this report as ‘fixed’.
