Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
The 4 streetlights at the west end of Bevington Road have all failed making that end of the street very dark and potentially hazardous.
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

I don’t know how to mark them on your map! The four street lights are all on the public pavement on the north side of Bevington Road in front of St Anthony’s College and near the junction with the Woodstock Road and so would appear to be the responsibility of the County Council as they are not on private land. I’m not sure what more information I can give you and a photo wouldn’t help since it was too dark to see anything or take a photo last night as the streetlights were not working!
