Sometime ago you repaired a pothole that was outside our house in order to stop vehicles as they dropped into the hole causing our house to shudder. This repair lasted quite sometime and cured the said effect. However due to increased vehicular traffic, including many HGV trucks that are entering and leaving the building site next door the pothole has returned and has increased in size and depth. As mentioned previously our house is an 18th century cottage (no foundations in that era) therefore the shuddering has returned as stated previously, due to the drop into the hole. Finally we have noticed some cracks that have appeared in our internal walls that could be due to these vibrations, (I would be happy to show you these should you wish) with this in mind, if you could please, please "Fix My Street" asap in order to:- (a) Stop the shuddering that we experience and (b) Hopefully stop any further damage to our walls. Many thanks and a Happy New Year.

  • This pot hole is getting deeper & wider & because of the increase of larger vehicles using this lane, the shuddering effect on the properties of Marsh Cottage & Marsh Cottage Barn has increased. Please can you advise as to when this pothole will be fixed? Thank you
