4 lights out
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 08:39, Mon 7 January 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
4 consecutive street lights are out around the junction between Main Street and Cane Lane. It is already quite dangerous crossing Cane Lane because of the design of the junction, it is even more so trying to do it in the darkness.
Council ref: 1505151

Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

Ref: 349558/349559 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

1 light is now out at end of Mandhill Close (on right) , next to the BT box. Still 1 light out at the entrance on corner to Mandhill Close. Lights are still out at top of Cane Lane, along Main Street (as reported earlier by Mr Salt on Monday). There is no light at the bus stop at Mandhill Close - complete darkness, not safe at all. Please arrange to light this area urgently.
