Failed Street Lighting

Reported via iOS in the Street lighting category anonymously at 23:33, Tuesday 1 January 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

There is a street light that has day-burning for months to the side of 10 Tuckers Road, Faringdon. The bulb has finally failed, it is flickering and not properly relighting leaving the pavement and entrance to the parking area in darkness. Please can the bulb be replaced and the timer/sensor be adjusted so that it doesn’t remain lit through the daylight hours.

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
