Street light not been working for at least 2 months

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.

  • Ref: 349446 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

  • The street light in Russett Avenue is still not working.

  • This is on our managment system for attendance and our new contractor is currently trying to repair the outstanding faults on an area basis. This will be completed as soon as we are able to do so

  • Russet Avenue is still in darkness!!!

  • Thank you for your report, this is an open fault on our management system, we have recently appointed a new term time contractor who is currently in the process of attending and repairing the outstanding faults left from the transition from the previous contractor. They are working on an area based approach and will attend as soon as possible.

  • We still have no street lights ☹️

  • We have attended column 1, outside house no.4 on 15th February and fitted a new lamp. Could you please confirm if this is the correct unit you are referring to and that this is still not working this evening, 28th March 2019. Thank you
