Chevrons warning of sharp bend missing a year after first report
Reported via iOS in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 22:20, Sun 23 December 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
Last December I reported that the Chevron signs warning of this sharp bend had fallen to the ground. Subsequently reported obscured by fallen branches. Think I made a further reminder report. In June a car left the road on the outside of this corner and ended up against a tree in the undergrowth !!! I reported this too. I think the status changed to under investigation. I see that the adjacent small connecting road has been resurfaced and a new give giveaway sign erected within a couple of metres of the single remaining post that used to hold the warning Chevron sign. How can this SAFETY CRITICAL sign still be missing a year later, after four reports and a vehicle leaving the carriage way ??????
