Street Light not working causing dangerous junction.

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 19:52, Fri 21 December 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

Street Light Number 1 in West Quay Abingdon is still not working despite numerous previous requests for repair. I would be grateful if you could please deal with this as a matter of urgency as many cyclists use this cycle route which is on a busy junction. The dark evenings have resulted in many near misses and one cyclist was hit by a car earlier in the year and was hospitalised.

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
