Two shallow potholes 12" and 6" with a third developing at the junction with Whitfield Gardens.

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:09, Sun 16 December 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

This is piece of road was only laid by contractors (presumably for the developers of Whitfield Gardens) last Monday (10th) and is already cracking up. Inspection shows that the depth of tarmac they have laid (less than 1 inch before the membrane) in insufficient for a busy road with HGVs. The contractors should be made to repair and replace with a more robust surface.

  • Thank you. The road has started to give way again and this morning we have been advised by the developers that a wider area at the junction is to be completely re-laid.

Excellent work in following this up!
