  • Oxfordshire County Council have recently appointed new term maintenance contractors to manage our electrical highway assets within Oxfordshire, however they are currently dealing with a small backlog of outstanding faults from the transition from the old contractor to the new. Our aim is to get as many faults as possible rectified, however this will be based on an area approach.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused while this asset is out of operation.

  • I am sorry to report that although somebody has replaced the existing light it is very dim!!! This is in comparison with other lights in the street.

  • The streetlight was changed one for one with the white light LED units, these units are designed to direct the light onto the road which helps reduce unwanted and obtrusive light. Comparing the light footprint of the old lights and the new, there is typically the same amount if not more light on the road, but not as much light reaching residents’ gardens and front doors.
