The new street lights on Milton Road between Milton Park and Didcot are not working.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

They were put in during the summer. Not sure if they have ever worked

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.

  • Many thanks for the report, these are a brand new run of lights installed by Skanska and Milton Park which OCC will adopt on completion, i believe the project sponsor at Skanska are still awaiting final connection with the service provider to get these all working, sorry for the inconvenience, i will pass this report on as we are awaiting completion to inspect ourselves

  • This lights are now all working (except for 4 and these are being investigated). The old lamp columns will shortly be removed (good as they obstruct the bike path) and the speed limit of 40mph will soon come into effect.
