Pothole around a fire hydrant/water valve
Reported in the Pothole category by Kevin Owens at 15:56, Thu 6 December 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
Deep pothole, around a water valve/fire hydrant, you have to move over the other side of the road to avoid it. This has been repaired before, and was also marked in yellow paint in July, but nothing has been done. It needs a temp repair of tarmac asap, to avoid serious damage to vehicles.

Unbelievable, but not surprised...No doubt it will be repaired when there is a massive crator in the road, which will cause serious damage to any vehicle.
I will monitor this, and will take photos when this gets worse. Can you confirm why it was marked in yellow to patch in July, when you had the road closed and not repaired.

This issue now needs addressing as owing to a previous sub standard repair it is now in the same state as before. Does an accident have to occur to effect a proper repair.
