Cycle lane on Marston Ferry Road has been removed.

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 09:16, Wed 5 December 2018

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The on-road westbound cycle lane which ran from outside Cherwell lower School (at the end of the segregated Marston Ferry Road cycle route) to near the junction with Banbury Road has been removed following road resurfacing. Yellow lines have been painted but the cycle lane has not been reinstated. It is not now possible for cyclists to access the junction except by queueing in traffic. The zero separation between traffic, including buses, and cyclists (including Cherwell school pupils) is very dangerous.
