A dead and looking very dangerous tree on the road side. Who would be the best persons to deal with this please.. ? Old Cherry maybe, about 400mm at the bottom and probably 15/20M high.

  • 07/02/2019 I am the occupier of 61 West Chiltern and have been away for 3 weeks. The dead tree mentioned above (reported by someone else in January) has leaned further towards the south since I left and I am concerned that if it falls it will cause injury to passers-by or damage parked cars. I think the weather forecast is for high winds over the next few days. Please feel free to email me for further clarification if you wish.

  • The update reads "State changed to: No further action" and my interpretation is that nothing more will be done despite there being a large red cross on the tree. May I assume therefore that if the tree falls unexpectedly the council will accept liability for any damage to passers-by or vehicles?
