Two street lights not working in Ottery Way, OX11 7UG

Street light number 4 outside 28 and streetlight number 5 outside 36 Ottery Way are not working. Number 5 has not worked for a few weeks, number 4 stopped working Saturday 1 December.
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.

Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

Please advise when these lights will be fixed. If work is grouped and fixed in one go (which I understand to save money) there are a number of street lights which have been broken in the area for a long amount of time (just look at your own map). Is it not time for these all to become a priority and be fixed.

Thank you for your report, unfortunately I am unable to provide a timescale at the moment, however we have recently awarded a new contractor and they will be attending all the outstanding works as soon as possible. I apologise I am unable to provide you with a further update at the current time.
