URGENT exposed wires on street light
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 11:28, Saturday 1 December 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
The metal case has fallen off of the street lighting and exposed the wires. It was loose and landed on my daughter's foot causing pain at the time. She is fine but it needs to be properly fixed as if it had landed on a younger child it could have been serious.
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
Thank you for your report and the photos. I am unable to locate an M4 which I beleive to be the lampost number. Could you please confirm using the attached map the unit which is near or at the location so I can ensure our contractors attend the correct unit. Thank you
