Streetlight number 17 running during the day
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
Ref: 348599 Thank you for your report; unfortunately we are only able to attend structural and electrical emergencies as a priority at the current time. All our electricity supply are un-metered therefore whether it is operational or not we will be paying the same amount for the consumed. Obviously we do like to get these repaired to save energy, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach

This is not known at this stage but there seems to be a major issue with streetlight faults in south Oxfordshire especially around the Didcot area and a lack of action from OCC doing anything about them, I myself have reported light from new installation done over a year ago and they have still not been attended.
