Ref: 348170 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

Two street lights have now been broken for months. The lights are facing each other on the Botley road, and therefore leave a significant patch of the road completely unlit, around the already tricky traffic situation outside Waitrose, just opposite Magenta Storage. This is dangerous for all road users, but especially pedestrians and cyclists.
This was first reported back in November. Why hasn't this been resolved? If anything, not responding to people's concerns and reports will make people stop reporting them here.
Note that this is within a 3-minute (approx 300 metres) walk of the Church graveyard where someone recently died under suspicious circumstances. This came as a great shock to the West Oxford community. It's important that people feel safe around here!
