Lanes too narrow for cars forcing them into cycle lane

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 01:55, Fri 16 November 2018

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The road markings at this junction (traffic lights) were repainted after the road was resurfaced this Summer (2018). On the Oxford-bound side of the road, there are 3 lanes marked: Cycle lane, straight on and turn right. The straight-on lane is too narrow for even an average car (let alone a bus or lorry). So most motor vehicles use the cycle lane. This is dangerous and obstructive to cyclists. I can only assume that this was an error, either in the specification, or by the contractors carrying out the work. The lane markings need to be re-done.
