Hi. Light has been out for a while. Very dark now at night for pedestrians and surrounding properties. Our summerhouse house was broken into during night of 14th and 3 bikes taken. Would appreciate if it could be fixed asap please for everyone's safety. Thank you.

Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

Please see attached - I have highlighted the light in question in a red circle. This has been out since late November/December and reported over the phone a number of times.

This fault is logged your report on our asset management system and we hope to get this repaired as soon as possible. Oxfordshire County Council have recently appointed new term maintenance contractors to manage our electrical highway assets within Oxfordshire, however they are currently dealing with a small backlog of outstanding faults from the transition from the old contractor to the new. Our aim is to get as many faults as possible rectified, however this will be based on an area approach. Apologies for any inconvenience caused while this asset is out of operation.
Kind regards The Electrical – Lighting Team
