Water collection outside 42 at drop curb area We have been there for about 14 years and never a problem but over the last 10 years or so water has started to collect on the road and goes onto the drop of the curb. It has started to break up the edge of the tarmac and cause a hole as you can see from the picture We had about a hour of rain at the weekend and it was about 2” deep in the road causing a problem getting to the boot of the car also cars drive pass splashing water over the path, not good when you are on the path The picture shows the collection of an hour of rain but taken a hour after it rained After more rain it will expand half way out into our side of the road and be about 4 meters long It looks as if that side of the street has dropped and is in a dip It will take several days for it to clear which then make it a mucky mess until completely drying up. It is also very dangerous when it freezes expressly it the path has got wet the the path freezes causing a slippery slope on to the road
