Ref: 347947 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

Please can you provide an update or provide your standard timescales for fixing this? There are a few street lights broken in the local area and it would be great if these could be fixed.

Thank you for the update last year, please can you confirm whether you new contractor has scheduled in to complete the repairs to the lighting? There are quite a few street lights not working and it would be ideal if these were grouped together and the works completed in one go. Thanks

Hi Our contractor is currently covering emergencies only, however they are also trying to deal with the backlog of faults. They are carrying out these works in areas starting with the areas with the largest number of faults. We will try and get this rectified as soon as possible.

Hi, Thank you for the update. I have taken a moment to review the street lighting and note that there are 47 outstanding reports for Thame on fixmystreet. I am not sure how many faults you have in other locations but perhaps these reports could be remedied soon.

Oxfordshire County Council have recently appointed new term maintenance contractors to manage our electrical highway assets within Oxfordshire, however they are currently dealing with a small backlog of outstanding faults from the transition from the old contractor to the new. Our aim is to get as many faults as possible rectified, however this will be based on an area approach. Apologies for any inconvenience caused while this asset is out of operation.
Kind regards The Electrical – Lighting Team
