Lights out at roundabout and road
Reported in the Street lighting category by Patrick Jocelyn at 22:01, Thu 8 November 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
Road lights are not working at the Wallingford/Brightwell roundabout. This makes it dangerous to walk to school in the dark or get the bus. Also, pulling out in the dark is made hard as cars are not slowing down for the 30MPH speed limit.
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.
