Dual carriageway lighting off
Reported in the Street lighting category by Vicky Minty at 18:59, Sun 4 November 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Three of the main dual carriageway lights are off (two next to each other and another one light down). On three occasions since the clock change, I have failed to see pedestrians/cyclists whilst coming off my driveway due to poor visability. There are no street lights on this section either.
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.
