Road subsiding

Heading towards Bicester on the A41 the road has been subsiding for a period of time, now causing a series of large dips in the road in the outside lane.
This now results in vehicles being heavly bounced around.

This subsidence affects both sides of the carriageway (Bicester and Oxford bound).
Clearly the infrastructure below the road has moved (major drainage pipes) so the work to rectify this is no small undertaking.
An update that the surveyor has visited and confirmation that the overnight closure required to repair the road (in collaboration with Thames Water) should be added on fixmystreet.oxfordshire.go.uk ASAP please.

Is there any update on when this work will commence. The road is very dangerous.

We shall be undertaking investigation works into the localised areas of subsidence on both north and southbound directions to ascertain why it is occuring we will then follow up with a programme for the appriate repair. The investigation works will take place in february as part of other works under night time road closures

We have undertaken some investigations into the cause of the subsidence, we are now programming the repair works in for as soon as possible for the first part of the new financial year
