Dangerous Tree

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 10:13, Mon 29 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

There is a very large sycamore tree growing in Vicarage Close, Aston OX18 2BZ, which although braced, is causing us deep concern and seems far too large for the area in which it is planted. The tree has divided into two main trunks, which obviously posed a potential threat, as tree specialists braced it some years ago.

The tree makes loud noises and moves in an alarming manner when the wind blows, despite it having being braced.
