Road subsides directly on the bend

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:11, Wed 24 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

The road has subsided directly on the bend. When riding over this on a motorcycle one is mid corner when the road drops away by about 3 inches, unloading then loading the motorcycle suspension. This is very dangerous when wet.

Council ref: ENQ18818332

  • This bend is still in a dangerous state. A new fence has been erected recently but nothing has been done about the appalling state of the road surface.

  • Since my update from April last year, a vehicle has crashed at this corner and demolished the fence again. Temporary plastic barriers and a temporary "slow" sign have been in place for months. How many more accidents have to happen at this corner before it gets fixed?!
