Incorrect Road Marking

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Mr Paul Davenport at 08:21, Sat 20 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The NEW road markings show 3 lanes. The right hand lane markings indicate straight on or right turn.

On entering the roundabout, the road markings immediately change to right only causing drivers to cut across to the left into live traffic.

An accident will happen here if the markings are not updated.

  • I have had an accident as a result of these faulty road markings. Both myself and the other driver were adamant it was the other's fault but when we looked at the road markings we realised the markings for the 3rd lane exiting onto the 3rd exit (from the Tesco direction heading to Aylesbury) disappeared and the 2nd lane traffic was guided across in front of my lane. I was therefore "turning into live traffic" as the original complainant pointed out.
