Mud left on highway

Reported in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 09:01, Fri 19 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

Due to lorries illegally parking on the grass verge, they have now turned the grass area into liquid mud and when raining they drag this on to the highway. This is a danger to vehicles and motorbikes and I recently skidded and nearly came of my bike in the early hours due to the excessive wet mud on the road. The area needs to have bollards to stop parking.

Council ref: ENQ18818082

  • This has become dangerous due to lorries parking illegally on what was a grass verge and now turned to mud. This mud is dragged on to the public highway causing a dangerous area. This week I have almost come off my motorbike due to liquid mud on the road and due to the area being poorly light.
