The Leys being used as a rat-run

Reported anonymously at 12:53, Thu 18 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council 2 minutes later

The Leys is being used as a rat-run between Churchill Rd and Worcester Rd, including by larger vehicles. Due to the straight and downward-sloped nature of the road the speed limit is often exceeded, posing a danger to the many children who live on the street. Traffic calming measures should be seriously considered before injury occurs. Many thanks for your help.

  • Apologies, I may have not made myself clear. The road layout is dangerous and I think an assessment should be made before an accident occurs.
