Water meter work incomplete

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 11:14, Wed 17 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

A water meter was installed outside no. 3 many months ago. The old brick paving has not been replaced - the temporary tarmac is still there. This is in a Conservation Area and the OCC spent a lot of money repairing this area a few years back. Has been previously reported but nothing had resulted.

  • As you will see from the photos some work has been done but not in the appropriate material(s). Philcote Street is in the Deddington Conservation Area and the pavement in this street was made with old paving bricks. The CC did a considerable amount of work on them in recent years. The bricks need to be re-instated. Thames Water or its contractors have been remiss in not recognising their importance.
