Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category by K Doughty at 17:41, Sun 14 October 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
White lines are desperately needed actually around the roundabout and not just on the roads leading to/from it. I was nearly crushed by an HGV who was on the outer lane.
Council ref: ENQ18817732

White lines won't solve it. The roundabout is far too tight. It's designed for a town centre not a dual carriageway. As proven by the 3 (at least) cars that have collided with the centre and demolished the signage.

Could you please advise exactly which team at OCC this has been passed to. The current lack of lines situation is dangerous.

On the entry to the 50mph, there is only signs on the outside lane in both direction, to advise drivers travelling in the outside lane could 50mph signs be also positioned inside the crash barriers in the centre reservation. The inside sign can be obscured for vehicles travelling in the outside lane. Surely there should be signage on both sides of the carriageway

Months ago I made a report about the nonsense of having speed plate signage on the wrong carriageway. Not in the central reserve as TSM requires. It still persists despite being told the contractor was aware . My original posting seems to have disappeared? Please update.
