Street light STILL off !
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 20:18, Fri 12 October 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Street light off westbound B4493 between Foxhall and Mendip Heights roundabouts. Thos was reported over a year ago, and multiple times since, and yet it is STILL not working. Unpleasant for pedestrians who have to walk this road in the dark. Are there any plans to ever fix this ?

Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

Ref: 347850 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.
