Urgent need of traffic light pedestrian crossing
Reported in the Roads and Carriageways category by Karen Fuller at 22:43, Thu 4 October 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
Hi,
I walk my kids to school every day from North Bush Furlong to All Saints School on the Ladygrove estate. This results in having to cross the very busy Abingdon Road in rush hour every morning and I’m the evening. Children also walk this route on their own, which is a dangerous crossing.
Many other people walk and cycle this route and therefore I feel an urgent need for a traffic light pedestrian crossing.
There is one further up Abingdon road, but we cannot use this as this pavement from North Bush Furlong to Bush Furlong along Abingdon road is incomplete.
Please could you consider evaluation ASAP.

Thank you for your report. I regret that Oxfordshire County Council do not currently have the available funding to install a new signal controlled crossing at this location.
