Old (non LED) street light No. 6 corner Gardiner St. & Wilberforce St. Headington not been replaced with new LED type. Was part of the upgrade program that took place last year. All other lights in area have been upgraded but this one was missed by the contractor. I assume they were paid for a fixed number of replacements including this one but work never done.
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
Thank you for your enquiry, this unit was due to be replaced along with the others in the road but due to the service cable being encased in concrete our contractors were unable to carry out the works. We have not paid for this no unit was replaced or renewed.
We do have a list of units that will need to be referred to Scottish and Southern Energy to carry out the works.
