Amend residents parking road surface markings

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:44, Wed 3 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The road surface markings for the residents parking area needs to be moved back to the signpost. The current position of the markings allow parked cars to obstruct access to our property as our intention is to remove the low wall (shown on photo) to allow access for vehicles to load and unload at the adjacent property

  • Please confirm intention to drop the kerb in front of the house. Shortening the bay requires a change to the Traffic Regulation Order which can be costly and time consuming.

  • We can confirm our intention to drop the kerb and a solution for the shortening of the bay could be adding the lost space onto the opposite end, effectively shifting the bay down slightly. Many thanks.
