Lay by on Milton Road

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 14:08, Tue 2 October 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

On Milton road, outside St Michaels Stores & Post Office there is a lay-by that is Publicly Maintain. Customer would like to know if there can be parking restrictions as this is causing an issue with the residents from the bungalow. They have to park their car far away from the properties. Customer would like to be contacted to discus what can be done.

  • Unfortunately the road is part of the highway and as such any lawful vehicle can park there. We would not consider parking restrictions as this would involve an expensive legal procedure for which the county have no resources. We do not allocate specific parts of the highway to properties so i'm afraid its a case of first come first served.
