'Access only' sign leaning and dirty

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 20:49, Mon 1 October 2018

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The problems with illegal traffic cutting through Old Marston Village is an on-going problem. I would like to think that maintaining the sign better would help to address this.

  • Thank you for your report. We have assessed it and found that the sign is still serviceable. Consequently its repair is likely to have a low priority.

  • Further to my previous reply it looks as though we will have to defer this matter until next year due to lack of funding. At which point it will have to compete for funding against what may be more urgent works as this is generally cosmetic.

However, you may wish to contact your local parish council to see if they would be willing to contribute towards the cost.
