Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.

  • Ref: 346551 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

  • Thank you for your report, this unit was attended to on the 16 October 2018 to find there to be no fault found, this was to unit no 2 Jethro Tull Gardens. Can you please advise if this is the correct unit or the unit number you are referring to (this can be located 3/4 way up the column) or the house number the unit is outside. Thank you

  • The unit I am referring to is along a path behind Jethro Tull gardens, leading from The Street to Howbery Farm. The unit number is 14. I have reported it several times. An engineer did come out once and observed that the unit had in fact completely burnt out and then did nothing about it. Nothing has been done since. Sorry I added comment to the wrong report.

  • This unit is actually damaged - not just an electrical fault. It is numbered 14 on the footpath by the church, not in Jethro Tull Gardens.

  • Thank you for your report, this is an open fault on our management system, we have recently appointed a new term time contractor who is currently in the process of attending and repairing the outstanding faults left from the transition from the previous contractor. They are working on an area based approach and will attend as soon as possible.
