Dangerous obstruction

These pipes are STILL sticking out of the cycle path. Winter is almost here and pipes will be completely hidden by dead leaves/foliage. When it snows these will be deadly to anyone using this path as they will be completely covered. We are going to place notices on fence neaby informing anyone that has an accident, or knows of anyone having an accident, involving hitting or swerving to avoid these pipes that local authorities and sustrans have been informed since spring of this lethal hazard to enable them to sue the relevant responsible people who have failed to carry out safety work to remove these pipes. In the mean time we request that this national cycle(ha ha) path is closed and removed from local/national maps/guides until this and the bridge to south(see separate report)and the tree roots, again to south are fixed as all 3 hazards are in the space of such a small section of path.

This is becoming a joke. I cycled this way at night with a colleague from Cambridgeshire. I'm used to constantly apologising for the state of the cycle paths here but to have to apologise for two razor sharp 5cm high in the middle of the national cycle route is a new low.
I've approached the view for cyclists approaching with my very powerful bike light. If you hit these they would be lethal. The fact the council have failed to fix them is a kick in the face for cyclists and shows just how low a priority they are for the council. Shameful.
