Pedestrian crossing road paint and flashing lights inadequate

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Richard Gray at 08:57, Sun 30 September 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 23 hours, 54 minutes later

Re the pedestrian crossing by the Health Centre in Welsh Way Witney. The white paint on the road has disappeared and it is no longer obvious that this is a pedestrian crossing. The yellow flashing lights are very dim and in sunny conditions are not visible. There is an increasing incidence of vehicles not stopping for pedestrians and the crossing is being treated the same as the illogical raised unmarked crossings?? In High Street where nobody knows who has right of way. My suggestion is to repaint the road and install LED lights (as fitted to Oxford Hill crossing).
