Sunken Trenches
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:21, Tue 25 September 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
The sunken trenches from old utility works continue to worsen. When HGV’s pass over the clattering and banging from the trailers is a noise / vibration nuisance and annoyance. When is it going to be fixed please? Will the road be re-surfaced? When is any remedial and corrective work planned to get this issue resolved please? This nuisance is becoming unbearable. Councillor Ian Hudspeth specifically told me to raise this issue on ‘Fix my street’ to get a resolution. I don’t feel that OCC are taking this matter seriously nor that they understand the nuisance and annoyance it is causing

The potholes by the pedestrian crossing (which have been filled several times) have sunk again and are breaking up making it dangerous for cyclist. This causes a lot of noise and vibration from heavy lorries which is affecting my sleep. Also the vibrations from the lorries can be felt in my property. When are these going to be fixed properly by resurfacing the road?
