Dangerous Street Furniture
Reported anonymously at 14:29, Mon 24 September 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later
The railing on Top Side leading from WH Smith to the Traffic Lights is very loose after being reinstalled after the mop, I laid my hand on it and it fell out just missing my feet as I leapt out of the way. An older member of the community may not be able to move as quickly as me. I have put the railing back in as best as I can but it needs to be properly fixed URGENTLY. If it cannot be fixed then it should be removed as the other railings on Top Side were removed by your officers some months ago.
Please confirm as quickly as possible when this work will be carried out.
Cllr James Kitcher-Jones Dep. Mayor, Chipping Norton Town Council
Whilst they are at it they could fix the ones outside Boots which have been broken since the snow. Alternatively cut them all off at the ground as the they are more dangerous broken than removed.

Oxfordshire County Council has recently transitioned to a new system that handles reports from Fix My Street. We are checking a small number of reports, including this one, that are currently marked as fixed on our new system. If you consider this still requires further investigation, please accept our apologies and create a new report by clicking https://fixmystreet.oxfordshire.gov.uk/
State changed to: No further action
