Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 4 minutes later
The parking outside charlton school is very dangerous. Drivers are parking carelessly, with no thought to the safety of pedestrians or residents. I witnessed a car parked outside number 46,blocking the path, the drop curb and sticking out in the road, causing a visual obstruction to pedestrians and a obstruction on the road.
Cars are being parked in driveways, blocking residents parking and that is just the parents!
Other road users are getting dangerous in the overtaking of parked cars, by speeding past, bumping up the curb, charging past cars that are stopped for lolly pop lady only to have to reverse.
Could someone please put measures in place to make this area safer.
The situations you have described are all instances of obstruction or dangerous parking which are an offence under Section 22 of teh Road Traffic Act 1988 and therefore can be reported to Thames Valley Police.
